In 2019, I produced a short documentary on a Green Day tribute band called Green Haze. Fascinated by their dedication, I explored why the band members perform shows across the country nearly every weekend, what draws them to Green Day’s music, the enjoyment they find performing, and the strong friendships they have built through the band. The documentary captured both their passion for music and the sense of community around tribute performances.
